Welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @Camiloem. .
I appreciate all this information that you've shared about the inconvenience that you've been having with your Charge 5.
If you haven't done so already, please make sure that you've followed the steps provided in this article to improve battery life in general, as this has been useful for other users.
In addition, please complete a three pulse restart following the steps listed here below:
The battery can last up to 7 days; because battery life is affected by use and other settings, actual results may vary, but the battery shouldn't be draining only after a few hours.
Hope this helps, I'll be around.

Same issue for me. Just started this past weekend. I always got 5-6 days out of my device. No changes made and now getting about 45 minutes!

I'm having this same issue. In about 30 minutes I went from 92 (was at 100 but forgot to take a picture) to 55 percent battery. I'll take another pic later as it gets lower and do a reset again on it but I'm not hopeful as many people are experiencing this issue. If its not acting right tomorrow I'm calling customer service.

My Charge5 started precipitously to do the same thing - lose all battery after 2 hours. No GPS on, no connections, no Bluetooth, nothing visible to drain it. Still drains in 2 hours. Tried this "reset" at least 10 times and it did NOTHING at all. There is no way this is not an intentional "update" by FitBit, seeing that so many people are having hte same issue. Perhaps it is an attempt to get us all to start paying for Premium?? Nice try. (It won't even stay charged connected to the charging cable.) This was my third FitBit. Will not, absolutely not, purchase another. Extremely disappointed.

I have since tried fully charging my Charge 5 and performing a full factory reset. The battery then lasted for one hour and then fully depleted.
I began a chat with Fitbit Support, which was cut off, but they could see the rapid battery discharge when checking my account data.

After having the charge 5 for 1 year and a few days I did the update and my battery was draining to 4% from 100% within a couple of hours and it stopped tracking sleep, heart rate etc I spoke with support several times, we went through resets, adjusted settings, all sorts, then a few days later it just died, no charging, black screen, nothing completely dead! I had further frustrating conversations with support, they kept going through the same steps but not understanding my watch has no life left in it, I asked for a replacement they said to speak to who I bought it from, but they said to speak to Fitbit as it's Fitbit's update that has caused the problem! I now give up! I will never buy a Fitbit product again!!

My Fitbit Charge 5 will now not power on at all

I'm also having the same issue following the December update. Battery drains in less than a day. No issues of this sort experienced with the Charge 3 or Charge 4.
I wonder if this is planned obsolescence?

Battery Drain update.
Firmware version on my Charge 5 is: 57.20001.188.58.
Anyone else experiencing these issues? When did you last update and what is your firmware version?
