Charge 5 battery dying super quick

So I charged my watch yesterday, checking the battery it was at 97% when I put it back on.   5 hours later it wouldn't turn on again.  Ok, so I thought maybe I saw the numbers wrong.   I keep my charger on my desk so when I went back to work I put it on, made sure the connection was made and it started charging.   Again, once I saw it was at 98% I took it off the charger and put it back on my wrist.   1 hour later, I went to check the time and it was at 10%.   This is a new(er) watch (I think I've only had it a few months), there was no damage to it and was working fine and holding a full charge through most of a week (5 days straight at least).  I did an update last Friday and it seemed to have gone fine.  Is this something anyone else is seeing, has seen?  I ran through all the troubleshooting including a reset.

I am having the same problem here. I have created a ticket and team of Fitbit support, informed me that they are currently working on a firmware to fix this problem.

Example:  I charged my watch to 93% at 11:21, and at 11:28 it is at 74%.   What is going on??

I have pictures but apparently, I don't have permission to upload them.

Another firmware fix? I installed the latest and updated my iPhone, followed all their instructions and my Fitbit battery still run out in 3 days. So frustrating.

Thanks!!   I've been going through the forums and seen this battery issue is all over the place, but it was the fact it was happening so much faster than others were reporting.  Hopefully the firmware will resolve this!

I noticed the same problem today, my watch isn't even a week old. It's not holding a charge and I got my EDA fine since I got my watch and today the  watch just tells me to hold my fingers there and the 3 minutes doesn't expire and I'd be on it all day. Please help!
