My Charge 5 has got very temperamental recently. The battery drains from 30 percent to 10 percent in seconds and it turns itself off if I do any strenuous exercise meaning that half my steps aren't counted! I did the last update thinking that was the problem but it's still as bad if not worse. Is it the dreaded end of guarantee period disease??

Hi there, @Mojoscunny. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that the battery of your Charge 5 is draining too quickly causing it to shut it down and stop tracking your steps. I understand where your concern is coming from, we are here to help!
I've seen you contacted our Support Team before posting here and they've already assisted you. If the steps that our team has provided did not work, please feel free to contact them back for further assistance. Since you have reported this matter to our team and they already shared with you all the steps we could've also provided here, please note there's nothing left we in the community can suggest. Also, since you already have a ticket open with them it'd be easier to continue the follow up on this matter with them directly.
Thanks in advance!
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

As of yesterday my Fitbit stopped holding its charge. Tried contacting customer support and they were useless and clearly didn't know what they were talking about.
