The battery is shot after one year. Will not stay charged. Strange a few weeks after the warranty runs out!

How many times should a person have to do this three pulse restart before something happens? All of the sudden the Fitbit Charge 5 has a black screen that I'm unable to "wake up". In fact, it must be working as the battery is being drained daily and this just started happening. It's very frustrating.
