I have no idea what happened, but my Charge 5 just stopped working. I've tried doing the reset method with the charge cable, I've tried cleaning the charging contacts, and nothing. Plz halp.

I already did everything in that "article" before posting. Nothing is working, and it seems like a lot of people are having the same issues rn

You are correct I’m seeing more more people every day that I’ve lost the use of their charge five absolutely ridiculous and the fact that no one fit that seems to be doing a thing to remedy the situation. I didn’t even get two years of use out of mine.

and I just got a lame response from Fitbit after four days of waiting stating that my warranty will not cover it which I already knew and that they may offer a discount on a new one which I find pretty much unacceptable, considering how many people are experiencing this issue. Fitbit seems to miss the point here. That point being, why would anyone considering spending their money on their products, only to get another year and a half out of it, before that one dies as well??
