Charge 5 black screen and won't sync.

Charge5 currently at 94%, not syncing and has a black screen.    All day it showed the fitbit logo and battery quicky died. Charged and it seem to lose all the charge and was at 4% mark around the 21:00ET (still only displaying logo on screen).Charged again and followed steps to reset charger cable and  unpaired from Bluetooth on my phone (S24 ultra), reset phone etc as instructed in other posts. It bounced between the clock face and logo screen.  It's finally now displaying a black screen with 94% battery shows via the app.  Thanks and appreciate any assistance in advance.

 it's not this screen by any chance? A couole of months ago my screen just stopped working. At first I thought it wasn't charging. Contacted fitbit support, they are really good at troubleshooting. Cleaned the charging portals, did the reset... Pushing the button in the flat end of the charger 3 times consecutively when it's on charge... The FitBit App was showing the device charged. So it is charging the screen will just not show clock face or stats. 

Troubleshooting asked me to change the clock face. I did that. And again get the screen above. 

I usually out receipts of my items into the box and store the box. But no receipt and nothing in my emails about when I purchased  it... I REFUSE to buy another Fitbit this is my 4th device and haven't even had it all that long. So looks like I will be saying so long to FitBit if they have no longevity and no recycle scheme, continuously filling landfills with remains of defunct fitbit devices....

I did change the clock yesterday.  It might be a screen issue as this is not the first of this irratic behavior.   This is my second fitbit, it's barely 5 months old and a huge pain and disappointment that I don't rely on to work anymore. 

 I will contact support.
