Charge 5 black screen

Also having issues with black screen and  tried all the suggestions- no luck 

I think it’s accidentally stuck on sleep mode as it records steps etc 

Any ideas ? On how to take off sleep mode when screen is black ?

Can you answer for me these questions, please?

- Are the LED lights on the back on?
- When was the last time you charged it?
- How long did you charge it for?
- If you haven't charged your Fitbit recently, we ask that you try charging it for 2 hours.
- Does it vibrate when you plug your Fitbit device into the charging cable?
- Have you tried restarting your Fitbit device by following the steps in our support article How do I restart my Fitbit device?
- Have you tried the steps in our support article Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

Answer to your questions..

Yes LED lights are on at the back

Charged yesterday

Charged for some time

No it didn’t vibrate when plugged into the charging cable

Yes have tried all steps - restarting and also the pressing the cable 3 times in 8 seconds etc
