Okay I have gone through the community issues with the charge 5 everyone seems to have the same issue the blacked out screen that does not restart. This is probably my fourth or fifth Fitbit that I have had this same issue with each one being a different brand. I do not believe I have any warranty left on this Fitbit charge. Each time I change the face out it works good for several months and then I wind up with the same issue. I think Fitbit which is now Google should warranty these things longer because we all seem to have the same issue. It does not matter what country we are in we all have the same issue blacked out screen that does not restart. When you call customer service we really get no help. I will be switching to Garmin I will never buy a Fitbit again.

Yesterday, my Charge 5 simply stopped working. All the normal restart processes do not work.
A little background - I have had my Charge 5 for almost 2 years. I really like the device. However, it has stopped a couple times in the past.
-2-3 times it unexpectedly ran out of power - simple fix was to attach it to the charge5 and in about 10 to 15 minutes later, it started back up.
-2 times before, it stopped working. Following the reset procedure, I attached it to the charger and pressed the USB-A button 3 times and it came back to life..
Yesterday, though, it simply stopped dead. The App showed that its last sync, at around 4PM, as having 79% power. But it would not sync to the App after that time. The device would not reset or restart using the 3 press button procedure. I tried it 10 to12 times. The first several times, the charger would vibrate but the device would not turn on. Once, after the 4 or 5 attempt, the charger head vibrated for about 15 seconds but the device stayed dead. After that, I could get the charger head to vibrate again. The device is still dead.
What other remedies are possible?

My Fitbit Charge 5 went "dead with a black/blank screen" yesterday after constantly vibrating for 30 minutes. I then plugged it in to recharge it. Now it is "constantly vibrating when I have it charging" (while the screen remains black). I tried the "three button sequence" and it seem to do something, but it is not working properly. It is still continuously vibrating. When I disconnect the charging wire, it continues vibrating for about 30 minutes, then goes blank again. (I think it simply is vibrating until the battery wear down again.) The screen remains black/blank. I also tried turning bluetooth on and off. Nothing happened! Any ideas?
