My charge 5 has been randomly stopping and today it has the black screen. Tried all the tricks and nothing is getting it back. Tried all the reset tricks and nothing is helping. Looks like the firmaware update is impacting what can I do?

Hi there, @CPov. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Charge 5 is still blank. I understand where your concern is coming from, I will do my best to help you with this!
To better assist you, please make sure you've restarted your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

Hi Marie. I'm having a similar issue where my Fitbit Charge 5 is charging and still syncing to my app, but the screen is completely blank. I tried both of your solutions mentioned above, but the screen is still blank. Any further recommendations?

Same issue. Blank clock face no matter what I change it to and how often I restart the watch. Battery life suddenly went from 5-7 days to less than a day.

Yesterday, my screen went black. I thought battery died. App says 37% battery left. When I tried to charge my fitbit, it just kept vibrating. When it finally stopped, I tried to reset...nothing.

Tried everything, cleaning, trying to restart. It did buzz at one point and then had a dull Red Cross :cross_mark: in a circle and now it is completely kaput.

I’m having the similar issue. My Fitbit Charge 5 Will not connect to Bluetooth and the screen keeps going to just the logo. It started about 1 PM Pacific standard time for me today, April 1. This isn’t an April fools joke is it?
I’ve tried restarting, I’ve tried plugging it into the wall, but it will not connect to the app, nor will it display any of my screens other than the logo.

Mine’s just done exactly the same thing. Not a coincidence surely!
Just stays on logo screen if connected to charger, but otherwise totally dead.
Was on 85% earlier when it decided to pack up, which would have normally lasted a few days.

I may be experiencing the same problem, but started out thinking it may have been due to a bath I took last week.
I'm going to go ahead and open a new ticket, just to see.

Nobody can change a clock face if the Fitbit is not working or communicating with the app. And no, restarting does not even work anymore.
