Charge 5 blank screen

My Fitbit Charge 5 was working fine. I did my workout and synched it with my phone. All of the sudden I looked at it and is blank...completely black. I have tried connecting it to the USB cable, tried restarting it with the cable button and nothing. What happened to it? It was suddenly! 😱

Mine has also been like this since lunchtime today. My phone is telling me there's an update but when I press the 'update' button nothing works.  Black screen on Charge 5 and when I try to reset it flickers the Fitbit logo for less than a second then black/blank again.

Same here - went blank yesterday and has a continuous flashing red light on the back. Unresponsive to cable reset.

Well my fitbit restarted itself but now it does not hold the battery charge. It goes from 100% to 60% immediately. Something is wrong with the device or upgrade.
