So our Fitbit charge 5 died after 13 months so just after the year warranty! This is the second Fitbit that this has happened too-ugh
Is this typically how long they last? Worked fine one day then nothing the next day-
customer service offered 25% off a new device but I just can’t do it again
Advice?

Hi, @teegan74 , how long a Fitbit lasts is quite variable. I have a couple of Fitbits that are more than 3 years old (and one that I sadly lost last year which was six years old!). What fails in my experience is usually the battery, and that is often because many people don’t understand the best way to maximise the life of the battery - the advice I always give is, wherever possible, to avoid deep discharges of the battery. Charging it little and often will significantly prolong the life over waiting to charge until the battery is critically low. You might find this help article with tips on extending battery life helpful if you do decide to replace your device.
As you have spoken already to Customer Support I assume they advised you to try the two basic troubleshooting steps of restarting your device and changing the clock face if the blank screen is not caused by a battery issue. If you have not already tried those steps it is certainly worth seeing if your Charge 5 will come back to life.
