Absolutely disgusted with the level of service.
Purchased a charge 5 approximately 3 weeks ago and on saturday half the strap fell off and has been lost forever. The only thing holding the device on was the sleeve of my jumper.
Monday put in a claim and wednesday received a mail to say claim rejected. This was after explaining that when I had tried to fit the spare strap(which is too short for my wrist) it wouldnt clip on as the clip mechanism had stuck in the open position - guessing thats something to do with how the original strap fell off ?
So have just gone on live chat to say I want to return item and response is ok we'll send you a return slip.
This is my 3rd fitbit device and there seems to be no attempt to retain customer loyalty.
And to make matters worse I ordered a replacement strap yesterday from a well known on line retailer and I put the strap on and was happy until I got the claim rejected mail.
Anybody else feel this is poor or am I expecting too much ?

Had my charge 5 about 2 weeks now. Been very happy but Saturday evening I noticed it had stopped working. I assumed it had run out of battery. I took it off my wrist and checked it over then put it back on. Then I drove home. As soon as I got home I went to take it off to get it on charge and I only had half of the strap. The other half had come unclipped and was nowhere to be found. I had the spare half of strap that came in the box but unfortunately that is the short strap and won’t fit my wrist. When I went to put that strap on it wouldn’t clip in place without a bit of fiddling as clearly the clip on the main body had stuck. I'm really disappointed as its only 2 weeks old and already I have to revert back to my old charge 4 which coincidently I replaced after 2 years as the strap attachment broke off the main body and is currently held in place with super glue ! How do I get a replacement strap or indeed multiple straps for if this is going to happen again !

Sad to hear that you're having issues with your Charge 5. Losing part of the strap shouldn't happen when using genuine Fitbit straps. Thus I'd suggest to contact Fitbit support fo further assistance:
