Charge 5 blank screen

I am very unhappy that my Charge 5 suddenly black screen and not working under firmware 188.58 last week. I reset tracker 3rd time and no change. Totally death. I see other people with the same issue. I've reached out to customer services in HK, but Fitbit decided to no longer sell products on 11 August 2023.

When will this be fixed? With this issue, I must be looking into a different fitness tracker.

Hello there, @Christinezzz. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Charge 5. I understand how you must be feeling. 

If this happened just right after updating your Fitbit device, it looks like your Charge 5 ran out of battery. With that being said, please follow the tips and recommendations provided in this help article Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? Let's try making sure both, your Charge 5 and charge and clean and free of any debris.

Thank you @MarreFitbit advice.

I tried to clean the charging contacts on the back of the device and the pins, lugged in to the charging cable for over 30 minutes. The battery always be at 1% and cannot charge up. When will this be fixed?

Very upset and disappointed.
