My charge 5 does not have any display. The app says it is full charged and my phone says it is connected to blue tooth. However, if I try to change the clock face as directed by Fit Bit it says it cannot connect. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Update: Fitbit no help. Offered me 50% discount on currently offered devices, not including new models like the up coming Charge 6. Cannot use it on a like device to the Charge 5.

Hello there, @Fschw. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for sharing the details about the inconvenience with your Charge 5. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products and services into consideration.
As you mentioned, I've seen you were offered a discount towards a new Fitbit device and I'd like to take the time to answer (probably) your inquiry regarding why we offered a discount towards a new Fitbit product instead of a replacement of your existing Fitbit product.
With that being said, please note our limited warranty provides repair or replacement of products that have a defect while still in the warranty period. Your device is out of the warranty period, and therefore is not eligible for repair or replacement, but we want to offer you a discount to thank you for your loyalty to Fitbit.
For more information about our warranty, see fitbit.com/legal/returns-and-warranty.
Even though, I truly appreciate that you've taken the time to come here and share your experience, please note for this kind of inquiries/cases, there's no so much we here in the forums can do for you as this is something that our Support Team handles based on our policies. Nevertheless, please feel free to reach out to them again if you need further assistance or clarification regarding the outcome of your case.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

With due respect, the company's terms linked do not go.into thr important details of Implied Warranties. Please see
from FTC's relevant page (https://www.ftc.gov/business-guidance/resources/businesspersons-guide-federal-warranty-law#:~:text=G....
Referring again to Fitbit"s legal page that you linked, take not of the following portion (emphasis on thr highlighted part.. which ironically.is not capitalized, haha):
, "Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations kn the duration of an implied warranty,, so the above limitations may not apply to you.".
@Fschw I encourage you to look into that. Althoug 50% is likely worth as much or more than a warranty-replacement (refurbished or even brandnew) Charge5, iff it applies to a highdollar device that you actually want and for a reasonable-to-you fullretail price point (whereas my warranty replacement of Sense2, still in "ordinary" period and not as completely kaput for no darn reason, was adjacent to succulents situation offer of 45% off new wearable device.. excluding Google's two!). It seems Fitbit realizes flaw in bricking Charge5 hence upping percent off from 35 to 50. You still however should look ninth other remedies, weighing thr cost of time and interim money to pursue.

you didnt offer a discount on a comparable New device. Let me use the discount on a Charge 6 and I will agree with you. Most of the choices I have for using my discount are either feminine in style or a lesser model than I had.

Ah so they want full moneys for the new_release models. atleast during pre- sale. which kinda makes sense, but.. some excrptions at least should be made. ‵else muxh dissatisfaction shall be likely.. perhaps not hurting "bottom line" directly, but likely strongly moreso indirectly from lost profits future & continual.
@Fschw Do keep pushing for a fair (or at least close enough to reasonable..) deal.
Oh and @LizzyFitbit the claim here about it being specific to just that person (i.e. Fschw in this case) doesn't hold much water, because the implocations of the result and handlings may reach much farther. disclaimer: Neither this remark nor the preceding one are/were "intended to discuss moderator actions".
