My new charge 5 went blank half way through my 20k walk yesterday. It still recorded the walk and talks to the Fitbit app on my phone. I have tried turning it off and on using the small button on the charger - press three times, wait ten seconds. The Fitbit logo appears on the phone momentarily then it goes back to non responsive. I have also tried resetting it by holding the button down for 15 seconds and unplugging- this doesn’t seem to do anything. Is this a common problem? I can’t contact help in Australia - they tell me to ring back when they are open. The hours are supposedly available here in help. I can’t find them either.

This happened to me too! The new firmware is bricking people's devices, support will tell you to buy a new one. I'm sorry this happened to you too 😞
