Last night my Fitbit (charge 5) buzzed and I tapped the screen to see the notification but it was blank. I assumed it had died but in the morning I had a low battery notification on my phone for the fitbit. Low and behold it hadn't died and was still syncing/vibrating when notifications came in but the screen remained blank (not even a logo).
Steps I've tried to fix:
- 3 pulse reset with charge cable (device vibrates but no screen)
- changing clock face via Fitbit app (downloads and the device vibrates, no screen still).
Any help would be appreciated! I understand it's a few years old but didn't expect such a critical failure so early in it's lifespan.
Best AnswerThat really sucks. Mine just died 3 days ago. You can try to get help from support live chat at https://support.google.com/fitbit/gethelp
Best AnswerGood luck. I’m on my 3rd Charge 5. Same thing each time. With this one, customer service is giving me the runaround and is not honoring the warranty. Each time I contact them they want different information. It seems they have a design defect with the screen.
