Hi, @Sonos27, welcome to the community, when you attempt the restart via the button presses you need to be on a "Live" USB socket - check it's OK by charging another device on it. In the off chance you are unable to confirm your Charge 5 has been charged recently, you may find this article helpful Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? - Fitbit Help Center.

18 months is of course disappointing but depending on where you are and when & from whom you bought your Charge 5 you may still have the benefit of What's Fitbit's return and warranty policy? - Fitbit Help Center In any event contact "Customer Support", use the chat facility or better still the phone for prompt attention.

I hope this helps.

Cheers
