Hi - I've had my Charge 5 for some time but it went into water for the first time today. I forgot to take it off when getting in the bath, it was in the water for less than 10 seconds and now it's not showing anything on the screen. It also won't show anything when charging so it seems dead now. I think it's a long shot as it's over a year for me but I just wanted to check.

That depends on a few things. Was the seller actually Amazon or was it a third-party seller just using Amazon as a sales outlet? Also it might depend on where you are. I know the usual warrant in U.S. in one year; in Europe I think it is 2 years. I don't know how that affects sales through Amazon.
Worst case, even if out of warranty, do contact Fitbit support to check your options.
