Recently my Charge 5's screen suddenly went black after about 2 years since purchased. I tried all of the remedies found in this Help section, but nothing worked. I actually got through to customer support, and they generously offered a discount on a new Charge! They emailed me a code with instructions, which I immediately tried to use to buy a new Charge 6. After I entered the Promo Code the site stated, "Coupon code has met redemption limit". I emailed customer support, and they replied that it takes 24 hours before the code can be used (says nothing about this in the email they set with the code). I waited until 24 hours had passed, and received the same message on the Checkout page. Mind you, I copy & paste the code into the Promo Code box, so its not a typo (I even make sure there is no trailing space). I let customer services know, and this time I get absolutely no response. It has been more than 4 days since anyone has replied.
Am I being ghosted by FitBit/Google?
What is reasonable waiting period?

Why would you pay for another item from a brand whose watch died after 2 years of usage? An issue reported by thousands of customers. Don't give them your money.

For a couple of reasons:
1. For 50% off its worth giving them a second chance, as it makes it about as inexpensive as a competing product.
2. My previous Charge lasted much longer, so they can do it. I am hopeful the Charge 6 has a longer life. If not, then I will switch.
