Charge 5 constantly stops tracking my steps

My charge 5 constantly stops tracking steps, at least once a day I have to reset it from the charger in order for it to start working again. This is unbelievably frustrating. Anyone else experience this issue?

To better assist you, please make sure you've restarted your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Yep I’ve already done that several times.
It’s a continual problem. I often have to completely re add my Fitbit

I'm having the same issue too. I've tried changing to multiple clockfaces and pressing the button on the charger cable 3 times to reset it  but the issue keeps coming back. Yesterday instead of lighting up and going straight to the charge screen when I attach the charging cable, it now goes straight to the fitbit logo first like it's being restarted. It's been like this for about a week I think. What's the point of wearing a fitness tracker if it doesn't work half the time I wear it?

Fitbits “help” has now made the problem worse and my Fitbit and phone won’t even connect . Told me to factory reset the device and that’s now created a whole host of other problems.

 

Time to find a new product
