Charge 5 died

I strongly feel that the Fitbit product quality and durability have gone down. My Charge 5 died after 1.5 years all of a sudden. I tried all troubleshooting and worked with support. The warranty does not cover replacement since the device has gone past 1 year. Fitbit offered me 35% off on a new product but I dont want to spend more money to buy a new product. This product should have last longer. The old Fitbit devices used to last long. I still have Versa 1 working fine.

Hi. it's good to see you around the community forums, @vishalw.

I'm sorry to see that it wasn't possible to receive a replacement device. It is particularly difficult when the device is no longer covered by the warranty, but even tough Support is eager to help with any problem you may experience with the product, they do need to adhere to the official warranty policy, this would start counting from the original date of purchase.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding the quality; comments from users are always useful to continue improving the quality of products and services.
