Well I got some life back in my charge5 but now it’s just this image flashing over and over….any tips on what to do next? I already attempted to reboot as suggested in the troubleshooting and that’s how this happened….he in advance!

I’d take this one step farther and say that my Charge 5 is simply not working. The fitbit logo is on steady and doesn’t respond to taps, swipes, or anything. Attempting to reset yields nothing. Three clicks on the charging cord button yields three vibrations and the logo turns off, then on - but no change in behavior. AND, my iPhone Bluetooth no longer detects my Charge 5…. I don’t know if this is your experience, W_D_S…. Thanks, Steve
My Fitbit has been doing something similar since 8/5/22 and I have tried everything to get it working again, I am contacting customer service.
My cheage 5 just started doing this tonight also.
My fit bit is doing the same thing. My iPhone cannot even find it anymore so I can’t synch it or restart it. Charged it multiple but the battery drains immediately. Please what do I do?
Mine too since last night..shows the Fitbit logo after reset and goes blank.. it's still working as my steps are still being accounted for ... In addition the Update Tracker link keeps crashing the App on my Pixel 6 pro ... HELP!!
Good luck with that. Customer service has been zero help. They probably have zero clue what to do since this is an issue caused by Fitbit and is not a one-off situation.
Hi W_D_S…. I engaged them on Twitter successfully…. We went back and forth on the usual restart test - I had to send a video of the restart and unresponsive device. They created and assigned a case. Now I’ve got a replacement being sent to me…. I initiated on their website - their twitter address is @FitbitSupport Good luck - hope this helps.
Awesome!!! Thank you for saying there is hope for a resolution! I don't use Twitter but connected to them via Facebook. Supposedly someone is going to reach out to me. A replacement would be a fine solution but they better pay for my international shipping as I'm not in the US again until October. Lol. Their poor product quality shouldn't cost me time or money to replace.
I got the same thing yesterday!!! I bought my Charge 5 in April. Battery life was randomly terrible. I updated to the new software a couple weeks ago. Battery life turned to wonderful. But yesterday i played pickleball in the AM and went to the beach in the PM. It was working just fine, then i looked up and the screen was blank and it wouldn't sync with the app. I put it on the charger for an hour late last night. Nothing. The 5 would vibrate a little when i connected it to the charger sometimes, but no screen. I left it in a bag of rice overnight to see if that old trick would work, then put it on the charger this morning. Now it just gives me the flashing logo screen. Guess i'll jump through the support hoops and see what the deal.
Similar issue with my Charge 5, I just received it yesterday and it has been completely charged. I get a message telling me to download the app and then it goes completely black. Does not respond to taps, does not vibrate... nothing. I tried the "push button 3 times" reset several times and still nothing, just "Download app" and then dead.

I can’t get through to customer support by chat or phone…what is going on with them…I got my Charge 5 for Christmas and have had no issues until the recent update …now I have unresponsive black screen with occasional flashing logo…I too have tried all the resets and troubleshooting suggestions…this is a big problem …I am back to my Alta from 2018, it has no troubles 😞
They are probably overloaded with unhappy Charge5 users. I'm at least happy it isn't just an issue with my device because maybe that will encourage a faster solution. 😆
Also I got through via Facebook and they had customer support email me. Someone else had a similar situation through Twitter. Maybe that will help you get a case number started?
