Hi,
Charge 5 displays X (in red circle). I am unable to sync, restart or reset the device.
Bluetooth connection is not working. The device is bricked / not usable.
Please advise on warranty/return procedure.

After a few hours of trying tons of answers, this is what worked.
Go into the app and change the clock face. I know, this sounds ridiculous. I am telling you I tried everything prior to changing the clock face through the app. I 'forgot' the device in bluetooth, I deleted the app and reloaded, I did it again... I did ALL of the suggestions in the forum and also watched YouTube videos. I turned my phone off and on. My Sense couldn't find the wifi / bluetooth, etc. etc. etc. The big RED X kept staring me in the face......
Changing the watch face worked. If you have tried everything else, it won't hurt to try this fix.
Once I changed the clock face I was then able to connect via bluetooth and then IMMEDIATELY updated the software on my watch. Make sure you update the software!

Same problem, so disappointing. Briefly got it to connect to app via Bluetooth, then back to red circle of death 😞
