Charge 5 doesn't track floors climbed, wait, What?

Seems like FitBit is going backwards.  I am so baffled on why they would take away the tracking of floors climbed, since they have badges to celebrate you climbing a certain amount of floors.  Please add the tracking to floors climbed!!!  This is so absurd

Lots of people were/are really upset about it too.  Unfortunately the Charge 5 doesn't have the hardware (an altimeter) to be able to have it added later.  If you're able to find a Charge 4 somewhere, they still have floors.

 

Who knows if the next Charge will bring it back...
