Charge 5 doesnt track eliptical properly

Noticed the Charge 5 doesnt log the same as what my eliptical says. I did 8k on my elliptical but my fitbit only logged 2 or so kms. Why isnt it accurate?

Thank you for sharing this information about the problem you're experiencing with your Charge 5. 

Could you please provide a few more details? Let me know if you're having this problem with other activities and if you're constantly having this inconvenience when tracking your elliptical activity or if it happened just this one time. In the meantime, I recommend that you try restarting the device using the three pulse restart method described here below: 

  1. Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  2. Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times (end of the USB cable), pausing for 1 second between presses. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.
