Charge 5 failed in run

I started a run at 45% battery.  My charge 5 failed during my run.  It keeps going to boot as indicated by the logo appearing then flashs a white line and restarts over and over to try and boot.  On the charger it behaves the same, except now it will not even boot at all.  Just dead with a flashing red light on the backside.  My phone cannot see the watch any longer either.  I tried the 3 button press thing and that did not help.  I've tried two different charging cords.

Sounds similar to mine. Wonder if they’ve done an update and it’s gone wrong

I called customer support and they troubleshot it, deemed it dead, and gave me a generous discount to help me replace it since I was out of warranty.  I bought the two year care on my new one.  Make the call.  They'll help you fix it or try to hook you up.
