Charge 5 failure

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I am on my second Charge 5 after the first one died in less than 12 months. The new one sent to me is now rebooting and then dead and then has the Fitbit logo for a few hours.
I have reset it using the directions from Google and pushing the button on the charging cable to no avail.
This time Google are dragging their feet to replace it despite this one being in warranty.
anyone else having this issue?

I'm a big walker with 5000 K’s a year so don’t know if this is a factor.

I feel your pain & hope you have better luck than I did. Bought 2 Charge 5 watches February 2023. One crapped out within a year. When I contacted them, they said it had to be purchased from one of their authorized dealers with a list provided. 3rd name on the list was Amazon, where I'd purchased them, sent them a photo of my invoice. I got the same response multiple times, so finally said the "H' with it...probably what they wanted. The 2nd one just crapped out this week, but now, obviously out of the lousy 1-year warranty. Bought another tracker/watch, less expensive & more options. I'll never buy another fitbit & tell everyone I know about their poor service. If you've got one...good luck!! Sue

Having the same problem.   Out of the blue the fitbit starts flashing the symbol and it won't start until I put it on the charger.   Battery is never low when this happens.   Nothing changes,  I'm switching to a different brand  (not Google)
