Charge 5 features

My charge 5 is now mostly just a glorified expensive watch with a step tracker

It does not give me the options as before for walking/hiking etc

I cannot check messages from my phone as before

I do not have fitbit premium nor do I want to subscribe to it

Surely there must be a way to have some features

Hi, @Far203 your post suggests that you used to have all these features, and they certainly still should be available to you without a Premium subscription.  You should be able to access the various apps (notifications, exercise etc) by swiping left from the clock screen.  If you are unable to swipe left to find the options that you are missing it sounds like the screen is frozen.  If that is the case it may help to give your Charge 5 a restart.  The for a restart instructions are  here .  It can also help to change the clock face on your Fitbit.  You do that in the app.  The instructions for changing the clock face are  here
