1. Take your working Charge 5 and allow the latest firmware update to run.
2. Observe that once you have done number 1, your Charge 5 no longer works. Nothing you do to try to reset it or restart it will work.
3. Contact customer support and they will act concerned and give you the same steps to try to reset it and restart it.
4. Upon having no success they will tell you to wait a minute while they check something.
5. They will come back and tell you that your Charge 5 is out of warranty and include the link to their warranty.
6. They will offer you a 35% discount. Note: they won't tell you this is off the 149.95 price only, not the current 119.95 price.
7. Decide whether you want to continue to do business with an flawed corporate entity.
