Hey so posted yesterday today the plot thickens. So if I track a walk or exercise on my charge 5 it starts ok then keeps buzzing I see the gps looses connection and it shuts device down black screen won’t do anything u till it’s plugged in again. Done this a few times now.
this morning charged it up ready to use thought I’d change watch face big no no wouldn’t connect to device then told it did update and I’d get tick on Fitbit to say it’s completed the update it shuts off black screen again u till I put it on charge. It’s at 97%battery so not that. What on earths going on with Fitbit? It’s putting me off purchasing another

Same here. I’ve had a problem with my Fitbit for a week. I was getting a flashing Fitbit symbol. I tried reset, forget this device, re-paired with my phone. Finally started we irking again after a day in the charger. Then few days later, the same thing all over again. I’ve had to leave it in the charger for 4-5 hours to give me 12 hours of use. Today it seems to ge rotting, but when a move my wrist to see the time, it only flashes the time for a split second.
My Fitbit is from December 2022.
My husband keeps saying I should just throw it away and go with an Apple Watch.

For the past week, my Fitbit Charge 5 has issues with walks. Fine for the first 1-2 miles, then screen goes dark. When I get home and plug in to charger I can confirm it was charged at >50%. Loses all record of the walk, including steps and zone minutes.
Don't know whether this is connected, but I also can't see the time unless I double tap on the screen. Used to be able to roll my wrist.
Haven't tried taking a walk WITHOUT starting the walk function, so don't know if it is the walk function or the Charge 5 in general.
Yes, I checked and there are no new updates for my device, or at least that is what the app on my phone says...
I'm on hold for tech support. Annoying music and no one seems to be picking up.
Any suggestions??
