Charge 5 has stopped counting steps

For the second night in a row my Charge 5 has stopped counting steps.  This watch is only a week old.

Thank you for all the information provided about the problem that you've been experiencing with your Charge 5. 

 

Could you please provide a few extra details? Let me know if you were doing any specific activity when your device stopped tracking steps. 

 

In the meantime, as @DramaQueenDiva mentioned earlier, make sure to try the restart procedure, as this has been useful for other users experiencing something similar. Please try the three pulse restart using the charging cable: 

 

  1. Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  2. Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times, pausing for 1 second between presses. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.
