I bought a Fitbit charge 5. It has all of the functions that I need. However, I found it has some abnormalities when displaying my heart rate during exercise. These are the things that I found:
1. In most cases, the displayed results seems correct. However, during my fast walking and working hard on my stationary bike, the displayed results could became unreasonably high. It could show as above 150 beats per minutes. As a result, I got very nervous, thought I had heart problem. However, when I used other methods to check, the actual values were actually in about 110-120 range as should be expected.
2. Yesterday, when I finish my bike session. The heart rate display kept showing as 85, even though it was actually already reduced to about 65 by manually counting.
It is really a shame. Otherwise, it is a good very good device that meets my need.
Does anyone else had similar problem? Is there any solutions?
Thanks in advance for your help.
