Charge 5 inaccurate distance and pace

simultaneously tracked a walk of my Charge 5 and MapMyWalk app on my I-phone.  There were major discrepancies between the two.  MMW logged a 5.12 mile walk at 1:38:34 and a 19'13" Avg pace (this is close to other GPS devices).  Fitbit Charge 5 logged a 6.22 mile walk at 1:35:44 and a 15'23" Avg pace.  Stride settings have been adjusted accurately in both devices. Ive also tried resetting my fitbit.  All to no avail.  Any ideas?
