A few weeks ago my Charge 5 display stopped working during normal wear. I did the reset operation (3 button presses on the USB cable). No change in display behavior although it did show info during the reset. It’s only 5 months old.
I can connect/sync to my Charge 5 from my phone but it:
* now shows no display on the device at all (even during reset).
* doesn’t gather sleep metrics.
* counts steps in the app.
* does show the battery charge level.
