Charge 5 is not charging

Charge 5 quit working, won’t reset or hold a charge. Have tried resetting, cleaning and waiting a full day for it to try to grab a charge. What else can be done? It is less than a year old

Thanks for letting me know about this situation in regards to your Charge 5 not charging.

Can you answer the following, please?

- Are the green LED lights in the back of the Charge 5 on?
- Does it vibrate when you plug it into the charger?
- I recommend you to follow the steps here.

Thank you so much! I have already tried all of these things more than once. I believe I need a replacement. It shows the logo on the charger but does nothing else and has a red light in the back

Since you've tried the recommended troubleshooting steps without success, you should contact Fitbit support (<-- click link). They will likely have you repeat the troubleshooting steps to determine if your device is defective. If they confirm that your Fitbit is defective and your device is still under warranty, they should let you know what are your options under warranty.

The warranty option isn't a solution for those of us out of warranty who experienced a bad defective firmware update! How will Fitbit/google fix this?
