My Fitbit is stuck with the logo flashing on and off about once a second, and the vibration motor appears to be stuck on.
I have tried resetting the device using the button on the charging cable but this has made no difference.
Anything I can do or is it just ewaste and buy a new one at this point?

Hi there, @BrightSparke. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is still unresponsive. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
Does the Fitbit logo stop flashing if you connect your Charge 5 to the charging cable? If so, I'd recommend trying a factory reset. Important: Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.
With the above being said, please try the following while your Charge 5 is in the charger:
You can follow the steps to set up the device after that How do I set up my Fit-bit device?

Hi! Nothing happens when I connect my Fitbit to the charging cable, the logo keeps flashing and I can not do the factory reset since the screen isn’t responding at all.

I have this problem as well. I cannot swipe down on the clock screen because I only have the logo whether on or off the charging cable. I can get it to blink the logo when I try to restart using the button on the charging cable, but then it just keeps blinking. When I tried to restart again it went back to a steady logo again.

I've already tried a factory reset, it doesn't work.
I said that it I had tried resetting it while connected to the charger, so I probably would have mentioned if it was responsive then. It's not.
The only thing the Fitbit can do, on charger or off charger, no matter what I do pressing the button on the charging cable is flash the logo on and off and occasionally get the vibration motor stuck on. After half an hour or so it stops vibrating.
It stopped syncing and it's not able to connect to the phone any more. I can't really afford to replace it right now but I don't have much choice as the warranty expires a few months ago.
