How do I stop the Charge 5 from counting steps while I ride my motorcycle

I would like to know how I can have my charge 5 not track steps while I am riding my motorcycle.  The answer I received dealt with taking the activity off my Fitbit, but I want to prevent it from happening.  I would appreciate if you can help me with this!
