I have had my charge 5 for almost 2 years. Yesterday it just died. Battery was about 50% charged. I plugged it in and nothing happened. Should I contact customer service? Any tips to try? Any recommendations on a new watch?

Hi, @plesifaf7, welcome to the community, Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? - Fitbit Help Center may help you evaluate your charging issue. If you are still stuck try restarting your Charge 5 - This video demonstrates the process in the second part. Still stuck? try changing the clock face in the Fitbit app on your phone.
If you are still not able to make progress contact "Customer Support" using the chat facility or phone for a prompt response. It's a good move to note the steps you've taken & the results so you can brief the agent clearly. If your Charge 5 is less than two years old you may have the benefit of Fitbit's return and warranty policy the agent will want to know when, where & from whom you bought it if it is to apply.
I hope this helps.
Cheers

Hi there, @plesifaf7. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is unresponsive. I understand where your concern is coming from. We're here to help!
As a first approach, please note that sometimes a Fitbit doesn’t seem to be charging when actually the issue is that it has become unresponsive (this can happen if the battery has been allowed to discharge completely). I'd recommend putting it on to charge on a charging wire and outlet known to be working. Leave it on the charger for a good two hours, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging.
When it has had two hours, try restarting your Charge 5. I would recommend trying this maybe twice in a row if a first try doesn’t work.
If the above doesn't work, please see Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
If none of the tips and recommendations provided work, please follow @Gr4ndp4's advice and chat with us online or give us a call. Click here to get connected.
