Charge 5 just stopped working

Just stopped working although it was charged today. Did not do anything out of ordinary. Can't sync, got it on a couple of times for a second by tapping. Now nothing. It's just 13 months old. Software is up to date.

Same here.  When I have seen my Charge 5 come to life by tapping several times, I see that it is "Pacing"and a Pacing tally shows that it has been pacing for 88 hours.  I have no idea what this means. This has been going on all week.  Yesterday my Charge5 synced with my iPhone but my step count was much larger than I believe that I really did yesterday.  Today, it will not sync at all.  My walks over this past week are not documented on my Charge 5 over this week at all despite the syncing that did occur up to and through yesterday for this week.  I have had my Charge 5 since November 2022, have only been using it since January 2023.

Seeking information on what to do to get this working again.

I have had short battery life on this device since I began using it.  Gradually, the battery has lasted longer between charges.  

I will have to check if my Charge 5 software is up to date, will look for information on this.
