Charge 5 keeps restarting itself

My Fitbit went black for two days and has finally turned back on but won’t stay on. It synced once but then went back to the same info from two days when it went black for no reason. The battery wasn’t dead then and is at 99% now but keeps shutting off then doing the fitbit logo screen then shortly after goes off again. Somehow it seems like right around the 6 month mark I always have issues. Any suggestions?

Hi there, @Meaghan53. It's nice to see youa round the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Charge 5. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you! 

There are some general recommendations that are usually helpful with any type of display issues. If you haven't done so already, please try the steps listed here below that have been useful for other users:  

1. Please complete the 3 pulse restart procedure method using the charging cable.
2. Please sync your device in the Fitbit app by tapping your profile picture > Charge 5 > Sync Now.
3. If you  can't sync, please try tapping on your profile picture > Charge 5 > Tile to see if the firmware banner appears (since a new firmware version has been released for the Charge 5).
4. If it's still unresponsive, please try changing the clock face as well and check if you're able to see anything on the display. 

If the above doesn't work, please let me know if the Charge 5 keeps stuck on the Fitbit logo.

Thank you for these suggestions! What would the firmware banner look like to know if it is there or not? Unfortunately, it also keeps dying super fast after being charger to 100% so it may be more then a display issue which is what happened about 6 months ago with my last one it started randomly having issues then just stopped working
