Charge 5 keeps rolling back steps

I run or walk daily and track my steps.  Lately my Charge 5 will randomly rollback steps and today was the absolute worst.   I came back from a 5+ mile run, recorded the steps then watched it rollback OVER FIVE THOUSAND STEPS!. It's rolled back a couple thousand before but never 5,000 - while I watched!  What is going on?
