My Fitbit charge 5 randomly switches itself off when I’m wearing it. Then I can only wake it up by plugging into the charger.

Hi there, @Cherrybun. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is still turning off. I will do my best to help you!
To better assist you, please make sure you've restarted your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
If the above doesn't work, please try a factory reset on your Charge 5. Important: Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.
With the above being said, please sync your Charge 5 and then, proceed with the steps below in the order listed:

I have tried all of the above and it seems to work for about 4 or 5 hours and then right back to shutting off.
