Charge 5 multiple issues

My Fitbit charge 5 has multiple issues - does not sync unless I try loads of times and turn blue tooth off and on, does not pick up my exercise, recorded 2 hours of tennis as 37 minutes! I had a Versa 3 before and it ALWAYS picked up my tennis sessions in full. 

i have also emailed to ask about how to return it as on the return label I got it says drop it to your nearest DHL depot which is about 80 km from my house so not really feasible ! My emails are not answered on this subject…at the end of my tether with the charge 5 and service from FitBit - any advice? Thanks
