Charge 5 no Text Notifications

I just got the Charge 5, can get notifications from all the apps I want in it but cannot seem to figure out why text message notifications won’t come through. It is connected via Bluetooth, getting notifications from other apps. Text messages are the only issue, anyone know what I can try?
