Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @SunsetRunner.
I appreciate the information that you've shared about this issue with your Charge 5.
Before considering other options, could you please provide a few more details about the problem you're experiencing? Let me know if your having trouble with the display no longer responding or if you meant the water lock feature is not working.
In the meantime, please make sure that you've tried the three pulse restart method using the charging cable:
I'll be around.

Same exact thing happened to me! Swam with water lock on and i thought my fitbit died, but when i went to charge it will not. It vibrates when i attach charger and i have pressed the reset button a million times and nothing..

@SunsetRunner That's great news! Thank you for sharing this update.
Hi, welcome to the Community, @Ahughes9980 @FernandaMSK.
Than you for confirming that you've been having the same problem with your Charge 5.
In case the water lock is on, please try to firmly double tap on the screen twice to unlock it. If this doesn't work, make sure to complete the three pulse restart method described here earlier, as this is usually helpful with any type of display issue. Let me know about the outcome.

Hello Davide, still does not work on my Charge 5. (I Swam with a water lock)
I tried the two options several times
In reality, the same happened with my Charge 4 (8 mth ago). But I still have a back up - my old Charge 2 🙂
