Hi. My Charge 5 seems to be showing data from yesterday (total number of steps, distance covered), and the figure is much less than the data showing for today on my dashboard app.
Any insight as to what is going on? (It’s the first time I’ve noticed a discrepancy in the data.)
I’ve restarted my Charge 5, disconnected and then reconnected Bluetooth…but no change.

Hello @Capyukko
I think there's an issue on the Fitbit side that is affecting data syncing between Fitbit devices and the app. I've seen multiple users reporting issues with step count syncing and missing exercise data staring around the beginning of Sept.
One user who has been experiencing exercise data issues reported yesterday (09 Sep 2024) that Support told them that the problem will be fixed in 3 days. Hopefully, that information is correct and we'll have a fix in another day or so.
For now, I don't think there's any more troubleshooting to try.

Thank you for your comment (I should have checked the past threads more closely…) - I will wait and see if the issue gets fixed.
Thanks again 😊

I just bought a new Charge 5 because I was cleaning and some chemicals seemed to have damaged my old one. Anyway, the Exercise "Weights" shows up on my device but it does not show as an option in the app. I do all of the things I did before and hit "Start" etc. when I am doing the workout. When I sync the app, it does not give me credit for my Weights workouts. It's also not an option in the app to be Auto Recognized. It only shows up under "Exercise Shortcuts" when I log into my account on their actual website. I have it selected as an option but still not showing up in my app. Maybe that fix you are talking about will fix this too in a couple of days?

Hello @TamaD
I believe the issue you're seeing is related to the problems other users have reported.
I saw a Moderator post today (12 Sep 2024) acknowledging the syncing issues and data transfer errors. He said that the team is working on identifying a resolution as quickly as possible.
For now, there's nothing more that we can do on our side.

Thanks! Yeah, I agree, same problem as it is still tracking my sleep and steps but not my workouts. Hopefully they will fix it soon.

As Fitbit does not work, as advertised, I take it there will be a refund given and a buy back so we can move to a device manufacturer that ACTUALLY WORKS!...I for one am fed up with having to wait while THEY make it work...not good enough.
