Charge 5 display showing Fitbit logo.

My Charge5 stopped working 1 week ago with no apparent reason.  It's charged 100% but no access to any features just sowed a red X for 1 day and now just shows the fitbit logo as if trying to sync. Same happened to my wife's charge5 also. What is the solution? It seems to be a pattern among charge 5 users. No notifications by fitbit when logged in to account or on website. I'm taking it back to costco for a refund if no action or response & let them deal with it.

I see you're having a situation with the display of your Charge 5.

I suggest you to try the following steps in the order they appear, please:

- In the Fitbit app, touch your profile picture, touch your Fitbit device and click 'Sync Now'. This will help you synchronize it.
- Restart your Charge 5 by following the steps here.
- After this, change the clock face of your Charge 5. In the Fitbit app, you can access the image of your profile and the image of your Fitbit device, touch the gallery and the screen and click on the clock face, preferably one of Fitbit and install.

My Charge 5 did a similar thing on 12 Sept 2024.  I finished my workout and “saved” it but the next thing I noticed was the Fitbit logo being the only thing displayed.  I tried resetting multiple times, using ChrisVillaFitbit’s instructions, but the display briefly went black and then back to the Fitbit logo.  I even let the battery die and tried again but same story.  I Left on the charger for awhile and still same story.  In the past several months, my Fitbit has gotten very flaky with the battery going dead daily and even sometimes hours after being 100% charged.  In the past week, my Fitbit has stopped displaying my pace information in the app but instead showing one lap while the map clearly shows different paces as did the Fitbit while it was logging the activity.

Why did my Charge 5 suddenly just shows only Fitbit logo? The logo just come on and off. My phone is unable to connect via BT to it and cant sync. I tried to do the reset by pressing 3 times within 8secs as instructed by the manual. Doesn't seem to work.

Is it a sign of it going RIP?
