Charge 5 not functioning

Fitbit no longer functioning since last week. Tried the reset with the charge cord but it didn’t work. I had a Fitbit previously and it died after 1 year. They sent me a replacement and it died 3 months later. I thought I’d give  a different model a try but now my Charge 5 isn’t working. I’m thinking it’s time to change brands and go with an Apple Watch. So tired of issues with Fitbit.

Could you please provide a few more details about the issue you're experiencing? Is the is an issue with the display no longer turning on?

Hello, it will display the Fitbit logo when first on the charging unit,
then it goes away. After a while it displays a red x. It will not connect
to the app or display anything outside of the circumstances listed above. I
cannot use the device at all. I have tried resetting it with the button on
the charge cord, but it has not worked.
