Charge 5 not reacting

I love my Charge 5 and it has been working like a charm. Yesterday it started buzzing continuously and then died. I tried to charge it, no response. Tapping doesn't wake it up either. It's close to a year old. Is this normal? Is there a fix for this ?

Thank you so much for letting us know about this situation and for all your efforts.

I suggest you try to restart your Charge 5 this way: 

  1. Connect your device to the charging cable. 
  2. Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times with one-second pause between each press. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.
  3. Another way to restart your device is to unplug it, wait a second, and plug it back in. Repeat this process 3 times in an 8 seconds interval and then wait 10 seconds until the device restarts.

Then check if the Fitbit app or your Charge 5 needs an update
