Charge 5 not recognised Bluetooth

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Updated recent firmware update whilst abroad. Since then it’s not recognised to pair up via Bluetooth. Tried again now back in UK but still nothing. Turned Bluetooth on and off, reset the Fitbit and fully charged. Deleted and reinstalled app. Watch shows the blue Fitbit logo but watch still not recognised. Tried on two different phones android and iPhone. PLEASE HELP!!!

Is this on the phone or in the Fitbit app? If you turn your phone's BT off/on, does the phone see the Charge 5?

  • Try deleting the Charge 5 from the list of known BT devices
  • Forget the Charge 5 from your Fitbit app settings
  • Clear the Fitbit app cache (phone settings --> apps --> Fitbit --> storage --> clear cache).
  • Turn BT back on (don't try to connect from the phone's BT screen) and then launch the Fitbit app.

Hi thanks for reply. The watch belongs to family member. Tried all as you said on his phone but Bluetooth can’t find the charge 5.

I have a charge 2 so tried to add an extra device on my Fitbit app on my phone. Even on my phone the Bluetooth cannot find the charge 5 watch.

I think the watch is faulty and needs replacing.
